Vicktory to the Underdog (2009)

The Pit Bull Press - MediaNoted tattoo artist Brandon Bond dispels common misconceptions about the often misunderstood pit bull terrier in this documentary highlighting the reasons why underdogs of all species will always share a rare and special bond.

When Bond made a public attempt to rescue Michael Vick’s fighting dogs, even devoted animal lovers couldn’t help but balk. These dogs were trained killers, but without that training they could have easily earned the title “man’s best friend.”

Bonded to the breed by their mutual underdog status, the animal-loving tattoo artist began devoting his life to rescuing pit bulls, and educating the public about them. But balancing a rebel’s lifestyle with the demands of being a dog rescuer is never easy.

Danny and Debbie Trejo, Donal Logue, Michael Barryman, and Pixie Acia all join Bond in proving why abusive pit bull owners — not the dogs — are the real problem.
